For Immediate Release
A year ago, in a galaxy without a virus…..
PSA Membership and Supporters had a Dinner & Movie Date. Flat Bread Pizza and the Music Hall’s special showing of the classic sailing flick Wind were both queued up.
It was a fundraiser for Portsmouth High’s Sailing Team. And as they had in the past, KPYC stepped up to help as well.
You guys know what happened.
2021 looks better. The Team needs our support again.
KPYC is stepping up with logistical support at the club, with docks and club facilities as before. Now their 420s need some TLC. Tillers with extensions, drain plugs, some new rigging, are all needed before they can sail.
We are asking PSA to dig in again for these kids.
A modest goal of $2000 will get the Team back on the water.
Further, this past year saw a new 501(c)3 incorporated – The Piscataqua YOUTH Sailing Association, or PYSA.
PYSA will be sending 2021 tax deductible receipts to all contributors!
C’mon guys and gals, let’s get this done.
