Want to Crew
Ian Clark: Lots of Experience

I am looking for a berth to crew on Tues, or another night. Have 5 Atlantic crossings, plus other passages, sailing and working on dive/charter boat on East Coast of Africa, Carribean, and years of class racing(South Africa), albeit years ago.

I am an active 55 y.o. training for a tri and 10k. I ride a bike all summer, 25 miles round trip to work.

I enjoyed the fore deck, can cook those overnight meals when the galley is upside down, and handle the best of storms with the best.

My first job in the States was as a commercial long line sword fisherman. I have been on the water a bit, and love it. Would love to get into sailing/racing again.

Hope to hear back.

Sincerely,

Ian Clark

I own a 1976 C&C 33 (my 3rd boat) which I keep in East Greenwich RI. I'm a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club. I have 10 years racing experience on my own boat and others. I've crewed on a J-105 and a C&C 41 as well as other smaller boats. I'm experienced in Main sail and head sail trimming and I'm an experienced driver.  I also have experience with some long distance regattas. I race on Monday nights in Narrgansett Bay on my boat, but I live up here in NH now and have Tuesdays off. I'm looking to get on a boat on Tuesday nights and I'm mostly interested in PHRF racing.
