Membership
Any individual, upon payment of dues, shall be a PSA member for one year and will be considered a member of PSA. PSA membership entitles the individual to participate in PSA activities, any PSA logo wear and to vote in PSA elections. Everyone who actively participates in PSA should be a member. A copy of the PSA bylaws are available here.

The PSA annual operating budget to run races for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights and for the Saturday races is around $25,000. This covers maintenance and gas for 2 boats, mooring fees, insurance, race committee, course marks, awards, kickoff meeting, awards banquet, monthly socials etc.

The fees paid by the skippers, do not cover the costs of running these races. That is why we ask anyone crewing to also help defray these costs. The crew fee boils down to a per race cost of about $3 or a $1 less than having a decent draft beer in downtown Portsmouth and the effects last longer.

Youth Membership
PSA welcomes any individual under 18 years of age to become a Youth Member. Youth members do not pay fees and are not entitled to vote. 

Dues for J24 and PHRF crews: $60 All crews are requested to pay dues if you plan to race 2 or more races during the season.
